Street Fighter Destiny - HARIKEN

This is the first time I take part in a ... Couldn't pass over such a neat subject!

Here's my character:

HARIKEN (HURRICANE)
Real name: Tsukushi Kasugano
Birthplace: Japan
Fighting style: Satsujinken

Tsukushi’s life has always been exciting... Videogame-genius as a kid, he also became a powerful martial artist (under the vigilant eyes of his sister Sakura and Ryu himself) as well as an influential personality in entertainment business.
When he finds out about a new edition of the World Warriors tournament, he’s in his late 30s and at the peak of his popularity.
Unable to take part in the event as himself, Tsukushi decides to dust off one of his favorite childhood alter egos...

On the one hand I liked the idea to dig up some obscure existing character, on the other one I wanted to reimagine him from scratch in order to come up with something completely fresh.

So, Hariken is basically the alias of Sakura's younger brother, that little guy playing videogames in her SFZ2 stage:

I thought he could provide an interesting and solid background for a SF character: grown up in a good, healthy environment, deeply influenced by japanese pop culture and also by her sister and friends... The idea of someone who enters the tournament just because he wants to, who has no one to revenge or to kill, with a flashy attitude (think about Fei Long or Yun/Yang) and no superhuman ability... A VIP who fights masked to hide his true identity...
It all seemed to me really cool and inspiring material to work on.
