MotU - Tribal Clash: He-Ro

Keeping up my MotU: Tribal Clash work, trying to expand a bit more in detail (even if these still remain rough sketches) the figures I've done here:

For who may see this for the first time, a brief sum up from my original post:

I've spent my entire childhood playing MotU with my brother and friends, and one of the brightest memories I still keep about them are those fantastic mini-comics illustrated by Alfredo Alcala: savage He-Man, the brutal villains, the barbarian feel... Beyond awesome for kid-me, and still incredibly inspiring to these days. 
I'm pretty sure even the guys at Mattel - at the very beginning - didn't have a clear picture of how to develop the series, and we all know how Filmation changed it later on, so those early suggestions really got stuck in my mind. 
I started from there, and tried to imagine this alternate universe where heroes and evil forces act as clans and fight against each other for anything else than survival or supremacy.

About He-Ro... The creative process behind each individual redesign is always a unique task, which is renewed every time and often inspires the next character. There are so many of them that would simply look out of place, in my Tribal Clash scenario, and they are usually those I have the most fun remaking... No doubt, He-Ro was one of them! As an ideal continuation of Extendar concept, I thought it would make sense to give the kingdom of Eternia a proper royal guard, in addition to its regular army. Originally a cosmic, time-travelling wizard, He-Ro is now the brave leader of Randor’s elite troops, living up to his very name as well.
